
Inside the skull of Ward Roberts resides the fun, funny and twisted brain behind two critically acclaimed feature films and countless music videos, webisodes, short films and commercials. An Indiana-native now living in Los Angeles, Roberts has a loving wife, two kids, an old dog and an even older cat.
Roberts wrote and directed 2012’s hilarious yet disturbing cult-smash Dust Up starring Amber Benson. Dust Up played in over 20 cities across the United States and was released in over 100 million homes through virtually every major digital platform, as well as on DVD in Blockbuster and Best Buy.
Roberts first feature, a dark-comedy called Little Big Top starring the iconic Sid Haig, was released theatrically to rave reviews and is currently available on both Amazon and Netflix streaming as well as on DVD. His short film, The Boy Scout, played at over 30 international film festivals and was a Gene Siskel Award Finalist. Roberts has directed music videos for the likes of Gram Rabbit, The Flock and Young Beautiful in a Hurry.
As an actor Roberts was most recently seen on ABC in Marvel’s Agent Carter and will be in the upcoming Warner Brothers feature film The Nice Guys starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe, directed by Shane Black. Previously Ward starred in Travis Betz’s critically feature films Joshua and Lo, and Joe Lynch’s Chillerama. Along with being a series regular on 3 seasons of Spike TV’s MANswers, Roberts has appeared on Hawaii Five-0, N.C.I.S. and CSI:NY. Roberts was also one of The Baby Eaters, a much beloved webseries with almost two million video views.
